Help
Recognize, review, download.
Start with the web trial
- Choose an example or upload one PNG, JPEG, BMP or static WebP image, up to 7.5 MB. Selecting a sample does not submit it.
- Read the upload notice and privacy policy. Check the consent box, then select “Start recognition”.
- Compare all tables with the image. Yellow cells and warnings are review aids, not a complete error detector.
- Download the Excel file. It normally goes to your browser’s Downloads folder, or a location you choose.
Limits and quota
The trial supports up to eight separate tables per image. PDF, handwriting and batch upload are not supported. Current limits are 10 accepted tasks per anonymous identifier per day, 50 per IP and 200 across the service, shared with the Skill. Limits reset at 08:00 Beijing time (UTC+8, 00:00 UTC), subject to server policy. Accepted tasks count even if they fail or contain no table. Queries and downloads for the same task do not count again.
Recover a task or switch language
Use “Continue checking original task” after a connection interruption or language switch in the same tab. The language pages share the anonymous identifier and session receipts. Switching does not start recognition. The selected local file cannot be restored after navigation; choose the same image again if submission was interrupted before a task number arrived. Its saved request identifier is reused. A different image gets a different request identifier.
Opening a separate browser, private window or clearing browser data may lose access to the original identity or receipt. Results expire about 30 minutes after task creation. When an expired task is recognized again, it counts as a new accepted task.
Review the output
Check missing rows and columns, merged cells, numbers, units, blank cells and symbols such as / and -. A blank is not automatically zero. English interface text does not translate recognized cell content, file names or worksheet data. An English warning may summarize a server warning; compare the original carefully.
Windows client
SandGull 1.1.12 supports English and Simplified Chinese. The illustrations use demonstration data. Change the language in Settings and restart to apply it. The client also supports scanned PDFs, templates and batches; web trial limits do not describe all desktop features.
Privacy and support
Only upload authorized images without unrelated sensitive information. See the trial privacy details. For support, email support@sandgull.com; send privacy and account data requests to allen_tai@126.com.
Open the trialOffline component preparation
Select Local offline recognition in Settings, then click Prepare offline components. The status shows whether components are installed. Existing compatible components are reused; missing models are downloaded on demand before offline recognition.
